About me
Amanda Moose, a National Board Certified educator, has dedicated over two decades to public education and media literacy. She currently serves as the Director of Digital and Media Literacy for Catawba County Schools in Western North Carolina. Her career with Catawba County Schools began in 1999. Over the years, she has worked as an Elementary Media Coordinator and an Instructional Technology Facilitator. She has also worked as an adjunct instructor at Lenoir-Rhyne University and a computer skills instructor at Catawba Valley Community College. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters of Library Science from Appalachian State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Educational/Instructional Technology also from Appalachian State University.
