About me
Jason Lineberger is a professional educator with 33 years of classroom experience. He has taught all levels of English/ELA from 8-12 as well as college writing and literature courses. Jason started Cleveland County Schools' Virtual Academy in 2015 and with the help of colleagues launched Cleveland Innovation Virtual Academy, a public K-12 online school, in 2020. PBS named him one of America's top 100 digital innovators in 2014 and elevated his status to top 20 in 2020. Jason currently serves as a full-time presenter for the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching and as a part-time teacher for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
