Josh Barton is the Digital Accessibility Coordinator with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, where he supports digital learning, accessibility, and inclusive technology practices across North Carolina schools. His work includes developing guidance, resources, professional learning, and technical assistance for educators, instructional support staff, and district leaders. Josh focuses on helping schools create digital learning environments and materials that are accessible, usable, and meaningful for all learners. He brings experience in assistive technology, accessible educational materials, digital accessibility, and practical implementation of technology to support teaching, learning, communication, and student independence.
