About me
Katherine Bendell is the Director of Technology for Richmond County Schools in North Carolina, where she leads district-wide initiatives in IT infrastructure, instructional technology, student information systems, and STEM. She specializes in building cohesive systems that align technology, curriculum, and data to improve efficiency and student outcomes. Katherine has led the transformation of her district’s technology department, strengthened the use of Infinite Campus, and developed a sustainable STEM ecosystem supporting innovation across all schools. She is also the creator of the RCS Tech Jamboree, a district-wide professional learning conference. Through collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and regional partners, she shares practical strategies for scalable, impactful technology integration.
