About me
I serve as the Lead Librarian for New Hanover County Schools. Before stepping into district leadership, I spent twelve years as a secondary school librarian, cultivating a deep understanding of student needs, school needs, and how a school librarian can be a tremendous asset to both.
A Past President of the North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA), I have been and will continue to be a champion for school librarians. I stay actively involved in library and technology cohorts for the DPI and continue to be a voice in promoting the evolving field of school librarianship and its impact on students.
